I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. I am really sorry but unfortunately there is really no work around for this. The original feed source is appending the following data into the img src attribute,

?width=330&digest=hkDUXXW7IJYSQKlUG98rAw9Mzqry6D+zBVtOAiSmcEY=

I believe they are doing this to prevent hotlinking. We cannot remove anything from the content of the RSS feed because some sites might actually use query strings on their image source
