As there is a "following" filter for the stream, it should be possible to post to the stream under the filter "followers only".

Right now your options are to post it to everyone, post it to registered users, post it to friends, post it to yourself, or manually make a list of users to post it to.
Additionally, it should be possible to setup the "default feed" for users based on access level. Guests should be thrown onto the "Everyone" feed by default, but once you register it should default to "Following". Similarly, posting should default to posting to "followers only" (or at least to friends only). Users reflexively hit "share" right away and while that's great initially or for small sites, when you have users with wildly different tastes having to see everyone's posts it gets a little unwieldy. On our site it's especially difficult because our user age range is 13-65, so some users are posting pinup drawings/nude drawings to the "Everyone" feed since that's what the "share" button does, but in doing so they're unknowingly exposing minors and adults at work to nude drawings.
Having a few settings to tweak the default feed for users and add/modify current feeds as well as be able to post to followers-only would go a long way to making EasySocial really stand out from the crowd even more than it already does!
