I have a feed setup to import stories from a certain web address and when they are imported the images are not being imported. I checked the feed and the stories tied to the feed and they all have images attached to the stories, but they are not being imported with the stories when the blog is created.

The feed address is http://www.lgbtqnation.com/feed/
Hey Mark,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. I can't seem to access the site as I am hitting this error, http://screencast.com/t/2aPhNJYjseGp

Can you also please provide us with the FTP access as well?

Hey Mark,

I would need to modify some files that could break the file manager / joomla even if there is a small typo. With FTP, I can quickly address this by re-saving the file but if I were to use a file manager and something goes wrong, I would need to let you know and that would cause some down time for you and I certainly do not want to take such chances.

Hey Mark,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply,

I still investigate why it can't crawl that bigger image from the Feed URL, because now only can retrieve smaller image from the content, you can take a look of my screenshot below.

I will get back to you once I figure out.

OK, it is working now. I see that my feed imports are saying Disallowed Key Characters, instead of pulling in the article in the blog. Can you fix this or does it have something to do with the article from the website?

Hey Mark,

Thanks for getting back to us that was working now, but what I fix is not include in next release version.

By the way, may i know what you mean "my feed imports are saying Disallowed Key Characters"? Perhaps you can elaborate more details regarding this?

Looks like the & characters are causing issues. I have patched the file /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/feeds/adapters/mapper.php for your site and it should work fine now for new items.

The mapper file was tweaked once so the images import properly. Did you do anything with the image part of the mapper file when you updated it?

Hey Mark,

I am unsure what Arlex modified earlier for the images because the file that I uploaded is simply a fix to fix the & characters that are being replaced to & (html entities).

Do you still have a backup of the file which Arlex provided earlier?

Hey Mark,

Can you try download my attached file and replace into /administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/feeds/adapters/mapper.php and see how it goes? Because I already applied above 2 fix in one file so that next time you can refer on this attached file.
