Hi,

even i have the correct feed url to get big pictures, only small ones are imported:
The last 3 posts under the category "Artikel" are newly imported with the addition "big" on the end of the feed url.
Hey Dennis,

Do you mean this big image? Check my screenshot here : http://screencast.com/t/jXKzDdR6

Unfortunately that was not possible to get that media files, what this feed importer do is, the importer will check this article page (e.g. http://www.immonewsfeed.de/news.php?id=1605 ) and retrieve all the content from that page.

Hi Arlex,

why its not possible to get this big image? Its important for me to use bid images for my magazine. For normal posts its also possible to use big images. Please can you fix that? Thanks
PS: My site is down in the moment because of a file restoration

Hey Dennis,

Actually that was very tricky to do this is because you can't make sure that media link is it same as inside the article first image, if the article contain more than 1 image, then the system do not know how to replace back which big image to small image in the content.

I've checked in your RSS feed URL, it seems like most of the feeds also only contain 1 image, so it would be safe, but this is just hack for you only for this specific case.

Try backup this file in your site -> JoomlaFolder\administrator\components\com_easyblog\includes\feeds\adapters\mapper.php then download my attachment file and replace into just now that path location file.

Then try import again, it should show big image.

Hi Arlex,

its the immonewsf.. and the only thing i changed was the sentence "big" at the end of the url as the provider suggested.
Please could you also import all the posts from the provider in order to get these posts with big pics?
You can delete all old posts in category "Artikel" then.

Hey Dennis,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply as it is weekend for us here.

I'm not quite sure what is the purpose you mean changed the sentence "big" at the end of the URL, by the way, can you check this post id "1224" from your backend > easyblog > post listing , is it can get the big image now?

Yes, on this post a big picture is shown.
Please could you import all posts from this feed into the database?
But please dont publish them, cause i use joomcial for autoposting. Thanks

Hey Dennis,

I am really sorry that delay of this reply,

I already help you imported all the posts from the feed URL in your Easyblog, but I noticed some of the image show 404 is because the original RSS feed url page [media files] already show 404.

The rest all imported correctly, can you give it a check now?

Hi Arlex,

thank you. I will contact the provider for the feeds because of the 404 issue.
Are you sure, that were all posts from the feed? Because as i remember it should be around 1000 posts?!

You're welcome Dennis

If you open this feed URL http://www.immonewsfeed.... you can try search `<title>` keyword on the browser page, you will see the total <title> count only around 177~178. Perhaps you can check with your feed provider regarding this.
