Hi,

again i prooved the rss url from this feed:
http://www.immonewsfeed.de/rssValid.php?iKey=1dd35a979940a6ac06488421e34566a5_334&anzahl=2500&folder=big

The importer tool should import the whole text (that works) with the pics they provide.
But instead of importing the big pics as in the feed, the importer imports only small pics?!
All i want is only to have the whole text with big pics
Hi Dennis,

I really dont understand what you mean with "remotly"?

Basically the EasyBlog's feed importer will need to crawl to each of the blog post links and fetch the content remotely and save the content into EasyBlog.

The provider gave me the correct rss feed/url which i inserted into the importer tool.
If i click on the link, all the content and the big images are available.??

Yes, you are right. The importer actually did something similar but the different is, when the content being fetched from the original link, the content is actually a long string that contain the html tags. Something like when you are viewing a blog post, on your web browser, you right click to view source. That page source is what the crawler will get. The importer will then need to further process the source to get the 'readable' content and save into your EasyBlog.

However, if the page html structure is very complicated, the importer might not able to process the content accurately This is a common issue and if you experience this issue, I advise you to turn off the 'get full content' from your EasyBlog feed setting so that the importer will get the 'snippet' content and save as the blog content in EasyBlog.

Hope the above clarifies how the feed importer actually work in EasyBlog

Hope this help and have a nice day!
Sam

I have already provided you the reply to your other thread and as long as you configure it to fetch the contents remotely, it will pick the content from the page at http://www.immonewsfeed.de/news.php?id=1660 .
