Featured slides max. length setting not effective

The featured slides in EasyBlog posts listing (startpage) are truncated to something like 230 characters. The limitation in parameter field "Layout-Verzeichnis-Empfohlen-Maximale Länge (Zeichen)" does not work. When I put in 40, same 230 chars are shown, when I put in 4000, same 230 chars are shown.

we decided not to use the featured slides for now. So we can close this ticket. We will prepare the roll-out now.
Thanks anyway for you help. We upgraded to 5.0.32 meanwhile, that worked without any problems.
