I am still receiving the following error on the showcase slider;



This email address is being protected from spambots...


I have updates to the latest version of EB and cleared the site / browser cache.

Could someone please have a look.

Ah it seems you are using the showcase module, not the featured slider. In that case, a fix is needed in the showcase module as well.
I will log this issue in our tracker so the devs can look into it.
I have attached a fix file below. Can you apply the file into the following directory and see if this fixes your issue?
JoomlaFolder/modules/mod_easyblogshowcase/helper.php

Hi Johnny,
My apologies. I did not know the issue persists on your site. As you can see in my local instance(http://take.ms/xG1VW), I could not replicate the issue after the fix. Can you provide us the backend url for your site? Using /administrator seems to redirect to your frontpage. Also, would it be possible for you to setup ftp for us so we can investigate this? Thanks.

Raymond my blog isn't just featured, it's on the featured 'showcase' slider. The email appears correctly in the blog itself, just not the showcase slider.

I have email cloaking temporarily disabled. You will need to enable it in order to see the error in the showcase slider.
