Ive just installed and set up easy blog on my website,

i think its great so far! but im looking to showcase featured blog posts from within easyblog on the home page of my website.

is there a module that will display featured blog posts that are set from within easy blog?

cheers
A.
Hello andrew,

Easy blog does have a module for featured blog post.

All you need to do is go to your backend > module manager > enable the easy blog showcase module as shown in this screen shot ( http://screencast.com/t/2qB540uPv ).

Once you have enable it. Be sure to click on the easy blog showcase module and set the module to display featured articles & click on the menu assignment to set which page you want to publish the module as shown in these two screenshots http://screencast.com/t/Tjyhtb9Kbf1q and http://screencast.com/t/e1x0m4E1r3wL

The module will appear according to where you set the position of the module as shown in this screen shot http://screencast.com/t/F8hIiyybF .

Hope that answers your question

Thanks for the response,

i followed your guide and it works very well, one question however!

when i click on the "Read More" button, it takes me through to a page that isnt the blog page i am using? it is still the blog but not the one i use in my site menu. this is causing me issues as the module layout for the two blog pages are different and the redirect is taking users to the wrong one?

i hope that makes sense?
cheers
