When featuring a blog the intro text is not shown. What setting controls this?

Hey Rene,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Most of the settings for the layout are now in the menu. Edit the menu item and click on the Featured tab.

Hi Mark,

Sorry. The menu item (featured tab) does not work for the content. Perhaps there is a conflict with my template.

Can you investigate. I am including backend details.

This problem is still not resolved. I have attached a screenshot showing my menu item selections for featured posts.

Any suggestions?

Hello Renejdm,

I am not seeing any information of your site details here. Can you please re-provide your joomla backend access and FTP access so we can check on the issue directly? Please advise.

Hi,

Why don't you just take a look at the problem. If you think you can fix this issue then let me know what the fix is and I will apply it myself.

You can view the problem at this webpage (Hint: look at the slider with featured blogs):

Hey Rene,

I have just tested this internally but I can't seem to reproduce this. When I tried to login to your site now, I am getting this error, http://screencast.com/t/bq1WZ0DpmY

Can you please advise?

Hi Mark,

I disabled super user access for your company. However, I have re-enabled it.

Try it again.

Hey Rene,

Thanks! Odd, it seems like this is only happening to your site. Is there anyway I can get ftp access to the site? Initially I thought it was due to the legacy post but what I did was copied the entire content locally and it still works fine.

I am not sure if there's a plugin that is acting up but I need the ftp to troubleshoot this as I do not want to disable anything on the site.

Hi,

I have attached ftp details. Note that the ftp password uses special characters.

Hey Rene,

Can you give this a try again? It looks like the reason why you are hitting this error was because your truncation settings was different than mine.

Hi Mark,

It is now working on the front end. But what do you mean by "your truncation settings was different than mine"?
