The nearby listing in the marketplace is great, but wondering if the "nearby listing" could be added to pages and groups.

Pages are business listings; visitors must sort through all the pages if they want to shop locally. But if they could click nearby listings and find local businesses (pages), it would be an excellent add-on feature.

It would work great on discussions (find local discussions), articles (find articles written by locals), and blogs (find blogs written by locals).

Videos, photos, polls, and audio would benefit too.

The whole theme of the social network I am building is to connect buyers to local sellers and make it easy to find and discover each other.

Thanks,
GWB
Hi GWB,

Thanks for the suggestion. That's quite a good idea to have this implemented globally in EasySocial.

You might want to submit your feature request regarding this simply by creating a new suggestion at https://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial so everyone else can vote for it. The team will usually prioritize features that are in popular demand during the development process of the next major release.

Oops, I see that it is already a feature for groups and events.

I would go as far as to say add the feature to the search bar, featuring it as standard in the search bar. So every search can be narrowed down to the surrounding area.
