Mark,

This FB log in problem persists.

1) When someone tries to log in via FB they get an error (attached: fb_issue2)
2) When someone tried to register via FB, then before finishing, they selected our logo (home page)
it showed them as me and logged in already (attached: fb_issue1)

Help!?
Hey there,

I believe this issue is actually because your app is not submitted to Facebook for review. You need to submit your Facebook app for review so that they will approve your app. This way, anyone can authenticate with your app, otherwise Facebook only allows the app owner to authenticate.

I think this was the issue last time and you said it didn't need to be reviewed because of its limited access..

This is what is automatically approved:

Approved Items
LOGIN PERMISSIONS
email
Provides access to the person's primary email address. This permission is approved by default.

public_profile
Provides access to a person's basic information, including first name, last name, profile picture, gender and age range. This permission is approved by default.

user_friends
Provides access to a person's list of friends that also use your app. This permission is approved by default.

Your response on Jan 10:

If you are not "autoposting updates" from EasySocial to Facebook and use it entirely for "sign in", you don't really need to submit it for review.

Facebook only requires that you submit it for review when you want to post items on the user's Facebook feed on behalf of the user

Can you please edit your first post above and include the Facebook access?

Hey there,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is actually a public day off for us here. I just tried with your Facebook account and it works fine for me. I was having no issues logging in with Facebook.

I believe this is probably because this account was using the older Facebook app. You should re-authenticate again to get a new set of tokens.

Do you mean reset the Client Token on the Developers page under Advanced Settings? If so, do I need to put the new token somewhere?

You need to sign out from your site and re-authenticate again. Are you using the same Facebook account as the one you provided me earlier?
