ES 1.4 introduces favorite photos which many of us are excited about. However I want to discuss the naming convention of "favorite". Below is two screen shots from Stackideas showing how it is currently in ES 1.4:

Notice that the word is spelled "favourite". I have two important reasons why it should be "favorite".

1. "Favorite" is a lot more popular (https://www.google.com/#safe=off&q=favorite 2,150,000,000 results) vs "favourite" has 426,000,000 results in Google. Don't just take Google's word for it, Bing and Yahoo are even more dramatic in terms of what is proportionally used around the world.

2. "Favorite" is simpler. Simpler syntax is usually the best, especially in the English language. Easier to remember, less characters to parse, slightly quicker to read, less text per line, ect.
Thanks for the heads up on this Josh! A lot of what you see in the blog post are experimental and it may look a lot different than the resulting 1.4 release

Understandable. Just figured I'd point this out sooner to reduce renaming strings and such. Fixing this in advanced also helps make the beta version flow a little smoother.

Hi Josh,

Thanks for the heads up on this. I already assigned this task to one of our developers and he will change the naming accordingly.
