You can find favicons by doing a google search, like this site here, http://www.freefavicon.com/freefavicons/objects/alpha.php?alpha=c

or you can generate you own favicon using an image file on this site here http://www.favicon-generator.org/

For the moment the current wanderes template does not allow you to load your own customize favicon. An update will be release for wanderers template to allow customize favicon.

If you insist on customize your favicon on wanderers you can refer to this article here ,https://docs.joomla.org/Changing_the_site_favicon

Hi Paul,

The new update for the Wanderes template is available for download on your dashboard.

To install a customize favicon first you must install the new wanderers template on your backend.

To install the new wanderers template

login in to your backend->Extension->Extension Manager->Browse->select the drive where you save the wanderers template->upload & Install.

To apply the new wanderers template

Extension->template manager->select wanderes as your default.

To install new favicon

Go to wanderers directory (where you save your wanderes template files)->joomlafoldertemplates\wanderers\images.

Delete the existing favicon.ico files and replace it with the new favicon.ico files

Yes this helps a lot thank you.

I put the favicon where you suggested:

joomlafoldertemplates\wanderers\images

And saw no change.

I then put it here:

joomlafoldertemplates\wanderers

Did some refreshing and cleared my Cache and I now have it showing.
I am not sure exactly which one did the trick!

I will keep an eye on this and report back.

It should fix in the latest Wanderers, can you try download again from your dashboard http://stackideas.com/dashboard and install from your backend > extension manager and clear all your cache and see how it goes?

If the Favicon is not show again, can you provide us with your Joomla backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this?
