I get the following errors when I am trying to create a new blog post from the front end.

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /usr/www/thatworkstoo/public/utopso/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/composer/composer.php on line 223

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /usr/www/thatworkstoo/public/utopso/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/composer/composer.php on line 223

Fatal error: Call to a member function hasCustomFields() on a non-object in /usr/www/thatworkstoo/public/utopso/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/composer/composer.php on line 273

I am trying to set up this blog in a very simple fashion so that my client can easily post from the front end without getting lost in the interface design and so many options.
Hi Brett Thayer,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

I've tried to access in your Joomla backend, but it seems like you provided that login credential is not working.

By the way, that was known issues, if you are using the latest version of Easyblog, you have to check your category is it got set one of the category set as default?

If yes, you have to check the category user group permission and see is it allow all the user group access this category.
