Hi,

I get this following error when someone tries to access a deleted blog or if someone types a wrong url.

<blockquote>Fatal error: Call to a member function getAlias() on a non-object in /home/binoyk/public_html/wc/components/com_easyblog/router.php on line 35</blockquote>

You can check the link below:

Binoy
Hi Binoy,

I've try to check you link blog http://www.writeupcafe.com/blog/10-personal without 9526-bidhannagar-mela-utsav-2016-at-central-park,-salt-lake I'm hitting 404 error, if refer to you error it maybe you can check at settings-> SEO-> permalink or any at you global configuration at SEO settings.

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hi,

9526 is the blog id. If you try any blog id which is deleted or not available, it gives this fatal error. Ideally this should give a 404 error.

if you try any url for eg. http://www.writeupcafe.com/blog/10-personal/111111
or http://www.writeupcafe.com/blog/10-personal/222222

it all gives a fatal error.

Hey Binoy,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

To add your access, simply edit your first post above or head on to http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site to insert your site access once only.

Hi Mark,

I have updated the post with the login credentials.
Also it would be great if we can have the blog permalink as http://www.writeupcafe.com/blog/author_id/blog_id
Please let me know if this is possible.

Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Binoy

Hey Binoy,

Can you give this a try again? It should generate the correct 404 error message now. Unfortunately you can't have /blog/author-id/blog-id currently.

P/S: In the future, please start a new ticket for any new questions rather than posting on your existing thread as it would be more difficult for us to manage in the future.
