Hi, I'm getting this error with some of the easyblogs articles: Fatal error: Call to a member function getName() on a non-object in /html/components/com_easyblog/views/entry/view.html.php on line 356. Other articles load ok. Any idea what this could be?
hey elvira,
no worries, you can take your time to search the code and update later without rush

I already found the issue and fixed it at your site. turned out - for whatever reason - some of your blog posts were not associated with a user and therefore ran into this error as the system couldn't show the blog post author. I set all missing entries to your administrator account (of course you can assign them to anyone else if you like) and now the posts show up fine again.

hope that helps and have a nice day

hey elvira,
looks like you're running on an older version of easyblog. can we update it to the latest version or do you need to make any backups of customized files first and/or want to do the update yourself?

just let us know

Thanks for the quick reply! If you'd could help...that would be great . I think I only customized the comment box, cause that gets a bit messed up with yootheme. But you can do the update, I have the code somewhere.
