Hello,

I just installed Falang to translate my pages on my multi language site.
I have an issue with the autopostlinks not getting correctly posted
I autopost to Facebook, LinkedIn and twitter and if I go there and click on a link to read my blogpost the site gives me an 404 error
AND if I go to my blogpage and click on any post on the recent posts page (mainpage) it gives me an 1064-Error

What can be wrongly configured? or is this not suppose to work when using falang and easyblog?

Could you please take a look

Site:
http://www.db-arkitekter.fi/en/blog

Facebook post:
https://www.facebook.com/dominicus.bjorkstam/posts/10153051204243707?comment_id=10153053868668707¬if_t=feed_comment

Site 1064 error:
http://www.db-arkitekter.fi/en/blog/entry/cool-house

Please advice, is it fixable or do I have to use another blogging platform?
(I can use another as I'm only blogging as a single blogger)

Sincerely,

Dominicus
Hello Dominicus Björkstam,

I'm sorry that delayed of this reply,

If I'm not wrong, when i try to login from your Easyblog frontpage layout, it will still stay at Easyblog page. May i know your one is redirect to your homepage?

By the way, it seems like you already changed the password, because I'm not able to login in your frontpage now.

Can you provide us with your Joomla backend, Facebook, and FTP access so we can help you check on this?

Hello Dominicus Björkstam,

May i know your Facebook autopost to this page https://www.facebook.com/dbarkkitehdit right?

Also may i know do you publish the blog post from your frontend?

Do you mind do some test post autopost to your Facebook page? Because I need to see the URL generated. Perhaps you provide us with your Facebook access so that we can delete it immediately for our test post.

By the way, do you have this login issues from your site before? Because when i trying to login in your frontpage, it show this error, check my screenshot below.

I have a security extension from Akeeba and it prevents superusers login from the front-end
If you need another front-end login please mail me back and I'll create one for you (I'm awake again )

If you go to the front-end and read the blog page (latest blogs) and press any link on the page to an actual post the link is wrong (se attached pic)
This is why the autopost get the wrong link too
What would the right link look like?

Now it looks like this:
http://www.db-arkitekter.fi/sv/blog/entry/guggenheim-helsinki-finalists-have-been-announced (example from the blogpage)
I think the error is somewhere in between the domain-name and /entry/........
the /sv - is language code
the /blog - is the language specific link to the page

It can be that the language specific link should be the same to every blog? It can be configured in Falang!
But what should it be?

Sincerely,

Dominicus

Ok some more investigation
The functioning link should have /index.php/ in between (after domain-name and before {lang code} /sv/ or /fi/ or /en/

How can this be fixed?
either have it back or change it to not be there?

Sincerely,

Dominicus

Hello Dominicus Björkstam,

It should work fine now and I will list down what i did just now.
#1. It seems like update the Easyblog latest version from 3.7, some of the places hitting SQL error, by the way I have help you update 2 Easyblog module to latest, this is fixed.
#2. I have commented you added that hack from the router.php file.
#3. I have help you set "URL Format for your entry" to use SIMPLE
#4. I have help you set Easyblog SEO behaviour to use menu item 120 <- Easyblog frontpage layout menu item.

Can you try publish a blog post from frontend and see the link is it correct from your Facebook page?

Yes I wrote this before your post reached me - thanks
One last thing; How do I configure it when logging in at the front-end that it doesn't redirect me to the start page (now it does)
I would like it to stay on the blog page

Thanks

I have tried to access in your homepage, but it seems like your homepage doesn't have login link.

Perhaps you mentioned the user login from Easyblog frontpage layout right?
