Regarding your issue, I've requested my colleague to test with his Samsung S4 and he is able to upload avatar and cover photo as well. Please see attached image. May i know web browser you are using in your smartphone? With my iphone, I tested with safari and with my colleague phone, he is using chrome browser.

Please advise.

Using Chrom browser
from S4 fail during croping. cannot crop.
After some time crop area gone if we touch and create avatar button not accessable.

from Note 4 upload ok. whwn submit it return back to upload menu.

I am sorry for the delay of this reply as you have caught us on a weekend

Regarding the photo cropping in EasySocial, I am sorry but currently there is a limitation on photo cropping when viewing with mobile device. Its a known issue and we are currently still looking for a solution to address this limitation. The only walk around now is to use PC web browser if you require photo cropping.

Regarding the above, i not sure if this is related to phone model or not but today i ask another colleague of mine tested on another android phone (Nexus7) again but he cant replicate this issue at your site. Can you try with another browser from your mobile phone and see if you still encounter this issue?

Sorry for being late to reply back this conversation.

Regarding photo croping; We could not avoid people in use mobile device instead of PC. So in this case at least we need some alternate temporary option in solve the problem.
might be by mention maximum size of photo profile to upload than without any crop required it wil paste there.
Grambling of new users and non pictured profiles is not a good sign of start up a sosial media website

Thanks for your feedback and your suggestion. Yes, we are still looking for a solution to address this cropping limitation when using mobile device. Yeah, maybe showing a notice in the avatar upload page might help the user to understand how avatar upload work with mobile device. Again, we will see what is the best approach to address this limitation.
