Installed Joomla 3.3.0 today over the latest easysocial and found that birth date no longer save. So if a user makes any changes to their profile it cannot be saved.
Hello Sam,

What errors are you getting there? I tested this locally on 3.3, but it did not hit any issues for me.

Hi
In my log files the errors I can see are
/components/com_easysocial/views/profiles/view.html.php on line 350

/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/stream/stream.php on line 482

/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/template/template.php on line 292

/media/com_easysocial/apps/user/blog/themes/default/logs/title.create.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/xxxxx/public_html/administrator/components/com_easysocial/includes/template/template.php on line 292

/media/com_easysocial/apps/fields/user/permalink/permalink.php on line 119

Also new user registration is not possible due to calender

Easyblog is also reporting errors

/components/com_easyblog/helpers/helper.php on line 1611

In actual fact from not having any errors there are errors showing for most installed extensions ****

Hi,

Non of the errors seems to provide insights of why birthday field is not saving.

Please provide us all of the necessary site access so that we can investigate this.

Both Easysocial and Easyblog are displaying errors I have cleaned up the all error logs to display the one instance of the errors. The saving of dates is the main issue.

Hi,

1. I can't seem to access your site's backend with the link provided as it is redirecting me to the frontend.

2. I tested editing the birthday on the frontend and clicking save will cause me to go in to a redirect loop, and subsequently causes me to get logged out by the server. I then log back in and the birthday is properly saved.

3. The redirect loop issue is most likely caused by a session issue on your site that is forcing user to get logged out upon profile save.

Hi,

I still am not able to access to your backend's site. The link is still redirecting me to the frontend.

Can you give me your ip number our first level security system is stopping you from accessing the backend even though I've turned off all other security implementations this I cannot turn off.

Hello Sam,

This is a little tricky because most of us are on "dynamic ip address" including our office Anyway, try adding my home's ip address (As it is a weekend here, I won't be at the office) 175.142.203.194

Okay will do it on your Monday just message me when you are at work I turned all the security functions back on for now. I will also prepare a duplicate site without such high security if it does not work with the ip.
