Facebook timeout error

I'm not sure why, but while testing facebook registration I keep getting this error message:

There is an error retrieving your Facebook details. Facebook returns an error message of: "name lookup timed out"

In addition the popup window for the user to approve the app appears and disappears very quickly.
Hi,

Can you provide us access with your backend, FTP and your Facebook access so that we can assist you further on this issue.

Please advise.

I built a new app using a new facebook account and the problem seems to have gone away.

Ever since i built the app, I was having some issues. The original issue was I was testing facebook sign on using the facebook account that owns the app, which caused conflicts. Don't know if its related.
