Hello, I have just installed EasyBlog on a client website and noticed that the integrated social share buttons on each post do not include a Facebook share button. How can I add a Facebook share button?

Thank you!
Elisha
Hello Julie,

Sorry for late reply to this,
You can set it from backend > Easyblog > Setting > Social Integration > Button Style tab > Show Send Button "YES"
Please let us know if you need further assistance. Could you please provide me with a temporary access to your website (as admin) and an FTP access so I can check that issue?

I have the same problem. I've set the Send button to "YES" but it doesn't show on the page. Twitter and all the rest show ok.
The site seems to load everything, but then the Facebook share button is hidden or something and the rest of the buttons move on top of it.
I can see the div with Firebug, but can't get it to show anyway.

Attached is a screencap of the issue with some of the firebug code visible and it shows the position where the FB share should be.

Hello Timo,

Could you can try to put your facebook ID number in this admin ID ( http://screencast.com/t/fkmJjx61z ) field and see how it goes?
You can follow this instruction to get your facebook ID number :
GOTO your facebook profile > then type this example " https://graph.facebook.com/arlex.wong "
If when you set it, the facebook LIKE button still disappear on your side, could you mind provide us your Joomla Backend and FTP access so we can help you check on this issues ? Please advise.

I tried inserting my customer's Facebook ID, but no luck. It loads the position for about 2 seconds and then moves everything on top of it.
If I turn everything else off except FB it still loads nothing but an empty div. I tried making the div super large to see if it is just a positioning issue, but no luck. I also inserted a few php echoes to the blog.read.php to see if there is a div which doesn't show, but I couldn't find anything. Even if I insert the echo inside the php tags where the Facebook script is loaded the echoed text shows. I tried adding background colors to the divs and I can see the divs ok, but the Facebook script doesn't load.

The site is currently on my production server which can't be accessed from outside. I will put up a demo to my public server and provide you with access.

Hello Timo,

This is probably because it is hosted in you local site, if this problem still persist after the site is hosted on the server, please provide us with the Joomla back end access as well as the FTP access so that I can check on the issues on your site? We actually need these information so that we can debug on your issues quickly.

Have a nice day:)
