Hi,

I have a user that registered with his Facebook account. When he tries to share something on my site he gets an error. The error message does not show any info, just an exclamation mark, if the page is refreshed than the sharing item with show on my site, but not on Facebook. It works with all other users, except this on user. It is very strange. I attached pictures with this challenge.
Thanks
James
Hello James,

Is it possible for you to provide us with the back end and FTP access to your site to check on this issue?

Hi Mark.

Do you mind explaining what I must check for? I'm still learning and I really want to know Easy social very well, if you should login and fix the problem, then I did not learn anything. You are extremely good at what you do, and if I want to be as good as you and your team, than I need to be able to understand what the problem was and how to fix it. I trust you understand what I mean. So where should I start looking?

Thanks
James

Hi James,

I am sorry for the late reply.
The user is hitting this error:
0 - (#200) The user hasn't authorized the application to perform this action.
I believe it is coming from Facebook. Can you turn Off this settings in EasySocial > Settings > Facebook : http://screencast.com/t/KxmHb5OHh . Please give this a try first does this issue is resolved? This settings allows the user to post to his Facebook.

However, if you wish to post to Facebook; because of the 'Insufficient permission to post to target on behalf of the viewer' the user is unable to post to Facebook, hence hit this error. You need to re-check you Facebook Apps permission, whether it has the permission to post to Facebook.

Please go to Status and Review in Facebook Apps. Check for the approved action for publish_action. If your site doesn't have permission, you need to submit for review.

Hope this will help and please update us back on this issue.
Thanks.

Hi James,

I am sorry for the late reply.
I believe it will be an issue if you do not resolve this issue. I also hit this error when I tried to share something on your site. Here is my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/Kzf4NHff .

Regarding this, "I'm only getting this from one user so far. All my other users doesn't have this problem." I believe he is sign-in to your site via Facebook. Can you try turn this setting Off in EasySocial > Settings > Facebook : http://screencast.com/t/KxmHb5OHh . Please give this a try first does this issue is resolved?

Hope this will help.
Thanks.
