Facebook share option does not work properly

I have a problem with the facebook share option.

The like function is no problem. It will display on facebook the right easyblog postings.
The share button however, always takes the general site metadata and general icon of the site.

I have tried all possible settings, but with no result. For one postings I got it to work, when entering a menu id in the seo settings at easyblog settings, but then it only works for that easyblog item. the rest will not work. That is no solution :-(

It drives me crazy! I dont want to like my postings. I want to share them on my facebook.....

I give up after spending multeple evenings on this issue. I hope someone can help me. The settings of easyblog are now completly wrong. no easyblog posting can be shared normally right now. Always the global site metadata is taken...

We have check your site and it seems like you have an extra Opengraph "og:title" which pointed to his main site. Do you install plugins to inject these code? http://screencast.com/t/kEau2K3Pwh3d or you hardcoded these code into your joomla template?. As you can see in the screenshot, the below code is the problematic code while the upper code is the correct Opengraph. The upper code is generated by Easyblog which I have enable it from your site: Easyblog > Settings > Social Integrations > Facebook Likes > Advance Settings > Append opengraph info in headers.

Please be advise.

I am sorry for the late reply.
If I understand you correctly, your issue is regarding Facebook share and like button isn't? If yes, I can't replicate this issue on your site and it is working perfectly.

Maybe what you meant was another thing. Can you explain it more and can you provide us with appropriate screenshot, so that we will have a clear view of your issue?

I attached 2 screenshots to make the problem more clear. I put arrows on the screenshots with text next to it to explain. Hope this will explain the problem better ;-)

I havent tweaked anything (yet).....

The only thing I can think of in this light, is that maybe Easyblog clashes with HWDMediashare?
HWDmediashare also has like/share option for facebook on every photo and I use a plugin from HWDmediashare to insert pictures direct into blogpostings.

But why does the like does it work like it should then and the share not?

next to this, I haven't installed anything strange. It is a pretty new site and only stuff running is:
- Latest Joomla version,
- Rockettheme template
- Easyblog latest version
- HWDmediashare
- rocksprocket (but this can be uninstalled, cause i done use it and not planning to use it either)

I found the solution. Those extra Open graph lines, are hardcoded in the template of Rockettheme.... I removed them and it appears to work fine now.

I read on the rockettheme forum there are more templates with this hardcoded in the index.php, so if anyone experiences the same problem when using rockettheme templates: remove those lines from the index.php in the maindirectory of your template.
