Hi,

For some reason my Facebook share button is missing in blog posts. The other 3 are there (twitter, G+ and pinterest) but there's just a gap where Facebook should be!! Please could you advise?

Thanks
Paul
Hi there,

Currently, we cant accessed your backend, as you can see here, https://screencast.com/t/xsD1dnoI. But it seems that those buttons is shown correctly as shown https://screencast.com/t/iIL0xmWc. Maybe you can try to clear your browser and site cache first and see how it goes.

If still persist, maybe you can provide us, on how to replicate those issues, or maybe on what browser you cant viewed those buttons.
Please advice.

Hi

The admin login does this very often...it usually takes 2 or 3 times to get in, though I haven't a clue why it's started doing this.

The image that you've shown is ok, but if you go into the post (read more) then the FB button does not appear with the others at the bottom.

it seems like something redirect the Facebook script URL https://connect.facebook.net/en_GB/sdk.js when you access blog entry page, you can check my attached screenshot below.

I think you have to refer on this thread -> https://securitycheck.protegetuordenador.com/forum/9-newbies-area/333-403-error which we can't login from your backend, i suspect it something to do for your securitycheck plugin.

This is my current IP address : 175.139.131.200

Hi Alrex

Still struggling with this

I've disabled the security component though, so you shouldn't have any problem logging in!!

Hi...still struggling I'm afraid with this missing button!!

the sdk.js 307 error is now ok at 200
Application ID etc seems correct.
Just that share button is still missing!!!

Can't find anything else in the site that needs the facebook app details and am going around in circles with the app settings!!

Have you anything else that I could possibly try please?

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply. I have checked your site and it seems like you have put the incorrect application id for the facebook like apps here, http://take.ms/6vDvu hence the button is not appearing correctly. I have place the correct application id as well as your admin id and now the button is showing up correctly in both entry page and listing page.

Please have a look.

Many, many thanks

Does Easyblog stil allow the app to autopost to a specific FB page? It's just that I haven't seen a list in the admin since the last upgrade?

Hello Paul,

Yep, definitely. You can still auto post to your Facebook page when you publish your blog post.

Hmmm..strange.
I remember in the past that there was a list of pages associated with the FB account and App....but there doesn't seem to be a list anymore...

Hello Paul,

I have checked your site and it looks like you probably authenticated with 5.0.x which was probably having an issue with the pages access. I have re-authenticated for you and you should be able to see the list of pages now
