Hello,

We amended the 'auto.php' email to be a 'Welcome email' with instructions for how to make the most of our platform and community.

(2 screen shots attached.)

However, this email does not send when a new user registers with Facebook. The register with Facebook users then say they are confused because they did not receive the welcome email.

**How can we have the Welcome Email (auto.php) send when a new user registers with Facebook?
Hi Meagan Hooper,

I've replicate this locally and I can reproduce it. I've logged this issue in our issue tracker and our developers will take an action for this.

Thanks for your understanding.

Thank you, Muhammad.

We will turn OFF registration with Facebook until this is fixed.

*Will you let me know when resolved, so we can turn ON Facebook registration?

Hi Mark,

Do you know when you might release the next version of EasySocial? I just realized that users who registered with Facebook won't be able to login if we've disabled the FB registration.

But, if we enable Facebook registration, no one gets the welcome email with instructions.

Hi Meagan,

Kindly find my response for your inquiries below:
Do you know when you might release the next version of EasySocial?

-> Currently we do not have actual date for the next version of EasySocial to be released.

I just realized that users who registered with Facebook won't be able to login if we've disabled the FB registration.

-> As user has registered by Facebook before they can login using username/password as you've disable the Facebook registration.

*once developers has fix the issue internally, I'll update you here
