So I created some meta tags for opengraph infacebook and noticed that my description isnt being registered. Instead whenever you share my website the description shows: APP_USER_GROUPS_STREAM_CREATED_GROUP

I feel this is on the easysocial side but Im not sure how to fix it.
This is my open graph meta:

Here is a screenshot so you can see what I mean:

Hello Christian,

Can you provide us your backend and FTP access so we can have a better look on your issue here? By the way, in the future you can just include your site's access once at http://stackideas.com/dashboard/site rather than needing to keep adding them in your post.

Hello Christian,

I've fixed it for you. Please verify this. The issue was there is multiple og:description in your page. I've temporary disabled one og:description so that Facebook can crawl and get the correct description.

Is the wrong description. I added the open graph tags in the meta to show a specific description. It looks like is still grabbing the last post from easysocial as the description and not the one I specify.
When you said "there is multiple og:description in your page." I never put those I only entered one which is what I want. Here is my meta tag:

<meta property="og:title" content="Red Social Cristiana | Mateo1820.com"/>
<meta property="og:image" content="http://mateo1820.com/media/com_easysocial/defaults/covers/user/default.jpg"/>
<meta property="og:site_name" content="Mateo:1820"/>

Hey Christian,

This issue is actually a bigger scale than we thought and it involves modifying a lot of app files. Currently, most of our apps appends the opengraph description regardless of the page it is currently at. We are fixing this internally and we'll need to release 1.4.6 to address this issue altogether.

We can't provide a patch because there are too many files involved

I realized that there is a setting that enables open graph on Easy social when facebook login is enabled.
It seems this is what was causing facebook to grab the latest post from easy social while sharing the website on facebook. As soon as I disabled this option Facebook recognized my customized open graph description.

Not sure if this is what you guys intended to do.

Hey Christian,

That option would completely turn off the opengraph tags on the page but the fix which I mentioned earlier would address issues with the opengraph tags being added on other views. The opengraph tags should only be added when you are viewing a single stream item (when you click on the "date" in the stream item).

Got it make sense. So if you were to add the open graph info you want to show for the main site (root) under the index file of the template that's what should show and not the latest post from easysocial.

The way is supposed to work is if you share a specific post from easy social on facebook then it should grab the info from the post and use that for the description when sharing on facebook.

Ok makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.

Hey Christian,

Yes, that is absolutely correct There is a bug in the way the "apps" of EasySocial are attaching these opengraph information as they should only be adding them when a person views a single stream item (upon clicking on the stream item's timestamp)

We can't provide the patch files for you because there are just too many apps being updated :x
