Dear support,

We followed this article in order to set up the facebook login.
http://stackideas.com/docs/easysocial/administrators/configuration/facebook

Once we go to test the functionality (i.e. login into our site with facebook) we receive the following error:
This redirect failed because the redirect URI is not whitelisted in the app’s Client OAuth Settings. Make sure Client and Web OAuth Login are on and add all your app domains as Valid OAuth Redirect URIs.

In addition, we searched in the forums and we could not come accross any similar issue. How shall we get our URl whitelisted as requested in the notification?

Regards,
Hi Phivos,

I am sorry for the inconvenience caused. May I know where exactly you hit this issue? because I have tried to login via Facebook. It seems worked fine http://screencast.com/t/FQPvQDMds9 http://screencast.com/t/qFzMsLiOMt.

Hey Phivos,

I tried to check your Facebook settings but I'm having difficulties in accessing it as shown here http://screencast.com/t/IEEwXRaMbR. I can't advance further without answering security questions. Please advice

Dear Syazwan,

Yes, this was blocked as the system recognised the different location. I unblocked the account and declared that it was me that tried to login from there. So, please try again and let me know how it goes.

Dear Muhammad,

You are right it works.

It does not work from the two computers that we tried yesterday and we do not know why. So, after your comments we tried from another PC and it works fine. We even cleared browser cache on the first two computers and the issue is still there.

So, after this:
We noticed that the facebook login registration process is short form although we selected to have the normal process (under the registration type) from the joomla backend>components>easysocial>settings>facebook.

The reason for this is that we want the user to see and complete the normal form in order to check our "terms and conditions" as well.

How can we do that? In order for you to see the difference with the normal process just click to register a new user under the normal process.

If we can put our "terms and conditions" (and the user not to be able to move forward unless he checks that he read and understood our terms and conditions) inside the facebook login form, then we can move forward with this short form registration that we have right now.
