I am no longer able to register new users with the FB button :-( Need urgent help I get an error sometimes but other times nothing happens, it just loads the main login page again.

I have seen this before.

STEPS to CHECK
To fix it try checking your EasySocial Applications in the Dashboard to make sure the facebook application is set to YES.



Then go to facebook, and login and then go to https://developers.facebook.com and check your app settings for your EasySocial App login.

Make sure all things are set properly. Sometimes Facebook adds new things, and I have had to update my FB App to get the login to reset itself so it works.

Check your FB Application ID and the App Secret - copy the numbers so you can make sure they match your Facebook Integration Settings on your site.



Click Save Changes to Save the settings for the App again.

Then go back to your site, and check the EasySocial Dashboard > Facebook Integrations
Configure the site's Facebook integrations here. Make sure everything is set properly - App ID, App Secret and the other settings, then click Save.



Do a Browser Cache refresh and check your site again to see if the Facebook login works.

If I think of any other possible solution I'll post it here. Ok. Right now I am at a loss for figuring out what could be wrong.

What version of EasySocial are you using? The latest version ES v1.2.3 ?

Hello Nicole Bernd,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Is it possible provide us with your Facebook access so we can help you check on that Facebook apps configuration is it set correctly?
Also, i have tried access in your FTP, but you provided that access is not working,

Error: Connection timed out
Error: Could not connect to server

Please advise.
