Understood Dimitri.
I have not conclude that this is the server fault. I would just like to gather more information, for example, whether the server have any ideas why the curl to Facebook did not go through and hit that error. Sometimes they can see data or details from their end that the software provider cannot see. Sometimes there are firewall in place on the server that prevents connections to 3rd party urls.
I will investigate more to see whether the issue can be reproduced outside of Joomla and EasySocial.
In the meantime, you can provide these to the host provider.
- state the error, which is shown in my previous screenshot.
- show them my previous screenshot.
- show them the screenshot in this reply. This is so they can see what sort of parameters are present inside the curl request.
- question will be, 'any idea why this error occurs when a curl requests is sent to Facebook? Are there any security/firewall in place on the server that could have blocked such curl requests? Any other information available with regards to this error?'
By the way, no other users reported this error on EasySocial/EasyBlog. The error also does not occur on my local instance.
now also the google login is not functioning
What do mean by 'not functioning'? Do you mean that you are redirected to plan selection(PayPlans) after clicking on google login?
