Okaaaay,

Do I have to be httpS to use Facebook login?

I have my EasySocial app all set up and you've kindly helped me with this, but I'm still getting the oAuth URL blocked notification on login....everything seems set up fine, but am I right in thinking that for Easy Social Facebook Login, and other stuff like Easy Blog Autopost, then the problem is not the oAuth URL that I've added (I followed your documentation), it's that my actual website needs httpS...the SSL certificate?

If so, that's a bummer....and this wasn't the case last year, was it?

Thanks
If i recall correctly, this kind of new Facebook app requirement released on last year, so you actually no need setup your current domain site to use SSL, because Facebook still allow it when you enter your domain with https protocol even your site is not support SSL.

For example :
- Valid OAuth rediret URIs - this one you have to enter your current domain name
- Deauthorize Callback URL - this one required to put https

Right, okay, thanks....it's odd...I've seen guidance on not including www in the beginning and others where I'm adding stuff to the URL at the end, and I've played with different configurations.

I seem to get it working and then it stops, and I'm not sure it should be intermittent. It seems to be working now (I added www in between the http:// and my domain), but if it falters again, I can try adding the https. But I don't, currently, have anything in the Deauthroze, as I've followed your documentation.

Maybe it all boils down to "I hate Facebook...and Facebook hates me". Anyway, thanks for the reply, it's very helpful. Will see how it goes.
