I am testing the facebook-login and ran into the following issue:

When somebody creates an account using Facebook there is an confirmation E-Mail sent, that gives Informations about the Username and Password, as if this user would have registered the "normal" way ...

I think that this can be very confusing. Could there not be a special E-Mail for Users that registered via Social Platforms? Also the Admin-Information is not different fro the "Normal" Process :-(
Hi Matthias,

The only way to disable the email to new sign ups is at the profile type page(http://take.ms/nvkD4).

It is not possible to disable registration notification for social sign ups only unless you hack the core files.

I do want users to get an email ... it’s just that I would prefer, that is a different email form for users who have logged in via other social platforms That informs the users in addition to the normal text, but they have registered via a specific social platform ...

Hi there,

It would be best if you can submit a feature request regarding this issues by creating a new ticket on the forums and set it to "Feature Request", so everyone else could vote for it, the more people request on this, and we will priority consider it.

Thanks for your understanding.
