We are having an issue with all our sites involving posting blogs to Facebook via RSS and Hootsuite.
Instead of the normal link posting with the blog image we are getting this (ow.ly) screenshot attached, which is a analytics code related to Hootsuite.
After contacting Hootsuite they said the issue is on the website side not their end.
Any ideas on what could suddenly be causing this?
Thanks
Hi there,

Can you provide us the link of the blog post and the backend access to the site as well so we can investigate this?

Hey there,

I'm not familiar with how Hootsuite works. I did try to share your post to Facebook and the post data is retrieved correctly by Facebook as you can see here(http://take.ms/Tynzm).
After contacting Hootsuite they said the issue is on the website side not their end.
Can they provide more details as to why they say the issue is on the website so we can see if this is related to EasyBlog?

OK, thanks. We have contacted Hootsuite again as we feel this must be an issue on their end.

OK, we heard again from Hootsuite. They are saying that we need to add the Facebook App ID in the meta tag to all our pages. I know what the App ID ia but not sure how that works with EasyBlog or if it's even correct.
We are not using the EBlog Facebook integration. We are simply using the RSS feed and running that through Hootsuite. It worked for several years with no issues but now it's not. Does any of this make any sense to you. Thanks.

To be honest, I am not sure what does the app_id has to do about sharing posts on Facebook but EasyBlog allows you to set the app id for Facebook if you need it and it can be set in http://take.ms/CO4ns

The Facebook app id is only needed for comments moderation (If you are using Facebook comments),
