Hi Guys

Happy Christmas, hope you all had a lovely time!

I have just been cross checking some blogs, and noticed a very large difference in the Facebook likes of articles. Please check the screen shots below for one in particular.

Facebook says it has 78 likes, but when looking at easy blog, it has none!

Can you have a look into this and see what the problem is, could it be something wrong with my Facebook code?

Thanks

Alex
Hey Alex,

I've copied your post URL into Facebook debugger tool -> https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug , it seems like Facebook LIKE count also shown 0, you can refer on my attached screenshot below.

May i know where you saw this -> http://screencast.com/t/CryUmXia1

Hi Arlex

I took this from my insights page in Facebook, where it lists the activity of all of my Facebook posts.

Hey Alex,

The likes doesn't link with your posts I believe Facebook treats them separately.

Hi Mark

Thanks for replying, does that mean that the likes that a post on easy blog gets, shows only the Facebook likes received from looking at the post and clicking on the like button shown?

Is there no way to allow all likes to be shown?

Yes, that is correct Alex. Unfortunately Facebook does not provide a way to link these buttons to your items shared on the feed unfortunately.
