On my website i have selected facebook likes by Social Integrations

The share button works ok

Hope you can help me!

Thanks!
Good day,

I just tested on your site and it seems working fine for me here as shown in the screenshot. Am I missing anything?

Perhaps it would be the best that you can tell us step by step on how to replicate it.

Hello Irwin,
Thanks for replying

The problem is when clicking on the FB like button on my website a popup screen appears and I don't no why. Also, the number of likes does not not increase

Before testing you have enable Facebook like in settings

See attached screenshot

Thank you

Hey there,

Here's how I test. I had log in to my facebook account first then I try to 'Like' your blog post and it is working fine for me as shown in the video.

If I don't log into my facebook account and try to 'Like' your blog post and it will show this pop screen that asked you log in first which is correct behavior as shown in the screenshot.

Am I missing anything?

Perhaps it would be the best that you can tell us step by step on how to replicate it.

Irwin,
That is exactly what I also do but it don't work for me for some strange reason

These are the steps:
Enable facebook likes in Social Integrations (I have already change this now)
Click on a FB like somewhere on the website and it shows a popup as shown in attachment

And yes, I'am logged in Facebook

Hi there,

I had tried a few times already and it seems working fine for me here.

Can you share with us the blog post links which have this kind of issue so that we can go through again and have a better check of it?

Irwin,
it seems it only occurs by me for all posts I give a like

i'have asked other people to like a post on the website and everything works fine for them, except by me

I'have also tried it on my iPad and iPhone and it works fine there also

It seems the problem only occurs on my PC (iMac)

Currently I do not have iMAC to test this out, but you can try click the Facebook like button from the Facebook page https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-box-for-pages/ and see whether you can able to replicate the same issue.

Hey Rob,

I did tried several Macbook laptop here, it seems that Facebook like did function correctly without hit any error.

You can watch my video here : https://www.dropbox.com/s/4jyyu04xquwuqju/screencast%202019-03-04%2010-41-36.mp4?dl=0

By the way, can you check your current iMAC machine and see whether you got update with your OS and Safari browser version to latest? If that is not latest version, perhaps you can give it a try and see how it goes since you are only one who hitting this issue in your Mac PC.

Because we tested on our Macbook laptop all using latest version of OS and safari browser as well.

OS - Mojave 10.14.3
Safari - 12.0.3
