Hi there,

I have a few questions about users who register to the site with Facebook connect (which I have set up already). I have two profiles on my site:

1) which profile (out of the two that I have) Facebook users will be assign. When I tested it it was not given the default one! Why?

2) is it not possible to let them choose which profile they want to join? Why force them into one?

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as I was currently not available during the weekend as I was attending a Joomla conference in Thailand. Please find the answers to your inquiries below:

The "default" will only be used if you did not configure the default Facebook profile in the Settings > Facebook. If you have already configured it, it wouldn't fall back to the default.


2) is it not possible to let them choose which profile they want to join? Why force them into one

You can actually modify the behavior by altering the Settings > Facebook > Registration behavior to be the normal process so that they can choose the profile type that they want.
