Components->EasyBlog->Autoposting->Facebook->(Standard_Settings or Step-by-step)

After configuring autoposting once, logging into Facebook and then revoking authorization in order to reconfigure a malfunctioning autoposting setup, the "Login to Facebook" button does not function. I have tried with Firefox, Safari, and Chrome on the Mac. I have removed cookies, cleaned caches, etc.

All the information should be configured properly for autoposting to now work. All that is needed to be done is pushing the "Login to Facebook" button.

EasyBlog 3.9.19775
Joomla 3.3.6
Mac OS 10.9.5
Safari 7..1.2
FireFox 35.0.1
Hello Myra,

It seems like some of the js file is not properly compiled. I have made some adjustment inside your .../media/foundry/3.1/libraries/closure.php and run the following url from your backend:
http://www.yoursite.com/administrator?option=com_easyblog&compile=1&minify=1

The facebook button should work now. Can you verify this for me?

Please advise.

Yes the button worked after your changes. As the button was working before, there is clearly some bug in the software that corrupts the files that you fixed. It seems that the corruption is tied to revoking authorization.

Thanks for your help.

Ezrul,

Could you please take a look at the LinkedIn "Remove Authorization" button. I think that it may have the same problem. When I pouch the button it does not remove the authorization. I had to change settings and now I want to deauth/reauth, but I am unable to deauth.

Facebook autoposting is working now BTW.

Thanks in advance!

chrissy

Hello Myra Ray,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.
Regarding the Linkedin autopost revoke access
-------------------------------------------------------------------
STEP 1 : Actually the Linkedin revoke need to do it from your phpmyadmin > find this table "#__easyblog_oauth" > then you will see this linkedin row " http://screencast.com/t/2X9ow6jHs " > so you have to delete it > after delete it then go your apps setting > Click Revoke > Click "Regenerate token" > Save

STEP 2 : Then go to your Linkedin apps > click the "revoke" then click on "regenerate" button -> http://screen.stackideas.com/2014-11-27_0143.png > save

STEP 3 : Then go to your Easyblog Linkedin autopost setting > Click Sign in with Linkedin

STEP 4 : Then it work fine now.

Arlex,

I have gone through all these steps multiple times. I have confirmed that the correct OAuth toekns make it into the database. If I post or if the article is autoposted to LinkedIn, the posted icon indicates that it is posted, but the article does not appear on LinkedIn. Further the counters on the App API do not increase.

Note: The App counters increase for 1) registration and 2) post to company page when EasyBlog registers with LinkedIn, but not after registration.

I have spent hours on this without success. If there some troubleshooting steps to figure out what is going on inside the black box.

Regards,
chrissy

Hello Myra Ray,

I'm really sorry that delayed of this reply,

We hard to tell you where goes wrong. Unless you provide us with your Linkedin account access or provide us some screenshot with your Linkedin apps configuration setting so that we can check on your setting is it set correctly or not.

I am willing to do both. Could you please tell me how to attach confidential (non-public) information to this case.

Hello,

Please ignore the previous message as I was able to utilize a VPN service to bypass the login but the FTP access which you have provided isn't working, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-13_0129.png

Hello,

Hm, I am not really sure if this is an issue with LinkedIn or not but when I clicked on the auto post button for Linkedin now, it does seem to appear on your company page correctly as you can see here, http://screen.stackideas.com/2015-02-14_1335.png

Perhaps during the time when we were testing this, there was some issues with Linkedin's API server but I can't really tell since I have no access to their system.
