I'm having issues with creating the FB app for auto-posting. Under publish_actions Notes I see a the red warning icon which says:

"It looks like you haven't made any API requests to publish content with the publish_actions permission in the last 30 days. You need to test this permission in your app with any account listed in Roles before you can submit for review. It looks like you haven't tested this permission because no API request has been made against publish_actions in the last 30 days."

Any idea what I need to do?
Hey Anthony,

I am sorry delay of this reply, may i know what you trying to submit this publish_action user permission for Facebook review?

is it you would like your blogger have the permission to autopost their post to Facebook user profile page?

If yes, can you provide us with your Joomla backend, FTP and Facebook access so I can take a look of your Facebook warning message and your app detail?

Hey Anthony,

Thanks for getting back to us quickly,

I am sorry for the confusing, because i still feel a little bit lost here, do you mean you would like to setup your client site autopost to their Facebook page right?

May i know you mention that Facebook page created by which Facebook user account?

Because when you click sign in via Facebook from backend > Easyblog > autopost > facebook, it actually authentication with your current logged in Facebook user account and this user account got create any Facebook page or not.

Perhaps you can elaborate more detail regarding you provided 2 Facebook user account so I can help you on this quickly?

Hey Anthony,

Oh, I know why this is not working is because this Facebook account (ddolde@teamallsaints.org) is under `Business Page` account.

Unfortunately that was not possible autopost to this `Business Page` Facebook account in current system.

Unless you create Facebok page under this Facebook user real account ( tony@aradise.com ), so when you do Easyblog authentication with this Facebook user account, the system will detect all the Facebook page what he created, then you can configure which Facebook page you would like to autopost to.

hey Anthony,

I am sorry that delay of this reply,

As you provided this Facebook user real account ( tony@aradise.com ), it will work for autopost feature.

Perhaps you can using this tony user account create a Facebook page for replace with your Facebook personal business page account?

Thanks but that wont work. I have one idea that, if it works, might be a good idea for your customers. This is to autopost to Twitter then set Twitter to post to Facebook, which is inherent in Twitter.

This worked very well. In Twitter, you have to set up the app to select a page on Facebook.

One thing I hope you can help me with. When Twitter sends the tweet from the blog to Facebook, the footer looks odd. This doesn't happen with a normal Twitter post.

Have you seen this before?

Hey Anthony,

I'm sorry that delay of this reply,

Amazing ! I also didn't know Twitter got this such feature now, that was great

Do you mind sharing with us how to select the Facebook page from Twitter app?

May i know which post URL is that? Because I suspect Facebook do not have permission to access your Twitter account page, so Facebook can't retrieve the data from Twitter page.

It's real easy. Just go into apps in Twitter and enable the app that's already there for Facebook. Then login to your Facebook and approve. Easy.

You'll see the post I'm referring to here https://www.facebook.com/AllSaintsLakeland?fref=ts

It's the post that says, "What is the Gospel? Part I: "A critical question to ask is, 'What is the Gospel?' The gospel is the good news of J...http://t.co/lLfuBaGCvx"

Again, when I write a regular tweet it looks good on FB but when it's sent from EB it doesn't look right.

Hi Anthony,

I've tried to place the following url that are generated from twitter, http://t.co/lLfuBaGCvx inside facebook url debugger and this is what I'm seeing there, http://screencast.com/t/7gNJyqeMrY . But for some reason when I'm trying to share the url inside facebook stream the content is not generated properly.

Not really sure what is the real reason that cause this. It could be facebook does not able to read the url correctly or it might be due to facebook cache with the url. However since the original url of your blog post is generated correctly inside facebook stream the problem might be occur with twitter and facebook itself. Not really sure how we can fix this issue since the original url is generated correctly .
