Followed new UI instructions to the letter.

Get through all the stages with login with facebook at final step get -

60 - An error has occurred.
SSL certificate problem: self signed certificate

Is it possible provide us with your Joomla backend, Facebook access and FTP access so we can help you check your configuration is it set correctly? Please advise.

I was having the same problem. This worked for me:
1, In Easyblog Settings - Social Integrations Facebook Likes - fill in page administrators Facebook ID - I used this tool http://findmyfacebookid.com/
2. In the developers page for your newly created Facebook app go to settings - Add Platform. Choose website. Fill in your website url
3. In App details go down to App Center Listed Platforms and click yes for website
