Hi,

Regarding Facebook Integration, I see the option "Allow Updating Timeline-Yes or No" in back-end.
Can each user choice this option in their account settings?
sorry, I found the option in account setting>social setting....

I have a question regarding this: Is it possible to change the Facebook Autopost to "NO" BY DEFAULT? I would prefer that users make the choice and select "Yes" in account settings.

Hi Jason,

I am sorry for the late reply.
There is a setting in the backend to enable/disable by default Facebook autoposting. You can access it here: EasyBlog > Autoposting > Facebook > Advance > Enable by default = no. Here my screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/cVnBGPrbM . So, this will disable by default autoposting to Facebook. However, the user need to select share to Facebook before saving EasyBlog entry here: http://screencast.com/t/aJ2noMiHjZ . If you have anymore question, please don't hesitate to ask us.

Hope this will help.
Thanks.

Many thanks, but I'm referring to EasySocial, not EasyBlog. My apologies for not clearing that up.

Hello Jason,

My Apologies too. I misunderstand your inquiry. I believe this feature is not yet available in the current EasySocial system. However, you can voice this out here: http://stackideas.com/voices/easysocial for this feature.

Thanks.

Hi,

I wanted to understand "Allow Updating Timeline", does this setting post to the users timeline automatically?
Tried searching the documentation, but couldn't see an explaination.

regards

Hello Sunny,

When this option is enabled, posting an update in EasySocial will also automatically post to Facebook as well. However, please do take note that with the recent Facebook privacy change, you need to submit your app to Facebook for approvals as they would not allow you to request permissions from users to post on their timeline unless your app is reviewed and published.
