Good Morning

I have been working over the last few days on getting our blog posts to autopost to FACEBOOK and also LINKED in. I havfe created the required apps and everything seems to work however the URL that is generated for the LINKEDIN post is incorrect and subsequentlu causes an error when a user clicks for example below are a the different URLS that are generated

FACEBOOK = http://www.polarchoice.com/blog/playing-football-in-london
LINKED IN = http://www.polarchoice.com/en/?option=com_easyblog&view=entry&id=340

The first link is correct however the 2nd opens up the wrong page. Please can you help me rectify this, we are about to really start churning out blogs for the website with a view to doing one at least once per week and I really need this to work.

Regards
Hey Leon,

May i know where you publish that post from your site? (Frontend or backend)

I remember I have told you that when you publish the post from backend, the sh404sef extension will not trigger the SEF link from backend.

If you publish post from frontend hitting this issue, can you provide us with your Linkedin access so we can better have a test?

Hm, actually that was known issue in Sh404sef, if you publish post from backend, sh404sef do not help you generate this post URL to sef.

You need to publish the post in frontend, if not that post URL won't be correct in your social network, the reason for this is because sh404SEF plugin does not run in backend and the URLs are not processed.

By the way, you can edit this post and put your access details into optional information area. (screenshot : http://take.ms/nQ4Hw )

Ok so the way to get around this is to publish to LINKED IN via front end?

Hey Leon,

I've checked in my locally, it seems like we missed re-share button from frontend, I will see if we can implement this re-share button in next release version.

But currently it can work around when you turn on this option `Autopost On Post Being Updated` from backend > Easyblog > autopost > Facebook/Linkedin .

For example : You already published this post in your social network, but now the post URL incorrect. Now you can edit the post and re-save again, it will autopost to your social network again.
