I'm having trouble getting Auto Posting to Facebook working.

I have set up Auto Posting to Facebook as directed at https://stackideas.com/docs/easyblog/administrators/autoposting/facebook-autoposting
I double-checked all settings in Facebook App and EasyBlog Auto Posting section and compared them to another EasyBlog website I have set up that is Auto Posting to Facebook perfectly.

At first every attempt I made to manually post to Facebook resulted in an failed error in the Auto Posting Log. Today I tried again, but nothing is logged and no post is added to Facebook.

Please have a look and see what is wrong. You can test with the published post "Guide the Fingerprint of this Day."

Thank you, Richard
Hi Richard,

It appears the following ACL rule is disabled for the author's user group(http://take.ms/1Nbgw). This prevents the author's posts from being autoposted to Facebook.

I have helped you enable that ACL rule in the 'Author' usergroup so you can now properly autopost posts written by users from that usergroup.

Also, I have helped you apply a fix file in the following directory which addresses a known issue with Facebook's latest api.
JoomlaFolder/administrator/components/com_easyblog/includes/oauth/adapters/facebook/client.php

This fix will also be included in EB5.2.

Raymond,

Thank you!! I thought that ACL setting meant the author couldn't change the Facebook Auto Post settings to post to a different Page. I didn't understand it meant they couldn't post to the configured Auto Post account.

Everything is working now. I really appreciate your help.

Richard
