Hi There,

So, I installed the Free Facebook App from appstore and I went to Applications and I can't find Facebook App in the lists of apps. How does it work? Does the user need to install it before they get the ability to auto post? I don't see an option in my Dashboard story form as well.

Also, I am seeing K2 Articles app in the applications list when I already disabled it the Applications since I don't use K2. Can I suggest to not auto install this free app since not all sites are using K2.

Another one, try to install an app, I did this with FB app. I clicked on Upload and Install button and nothing happened, so I clicked it again - twice or thrice and I got the App has been installed... weird!

I am seeing this in my test site.

Thanks,

Jackson

-> In order to have the Facebook autopost function for a user, the user themselves need to authenticate with facebook . In other word sync their account with Facebook account (require facebook social integration http://take.ms/JaoMQ )

-> I'll tell this to our developers regarding this.

-> I've tried to replicate this issue locally, it seems I'm unable to reproduce it where as I click upload and install for the first time it will directly install the app.

Hi Fadhli,

So you mean I can only see the Facebook autopost if I created my account using FB and if I created it using email/joomla native I cannot use FB autopost? Hmmm... what if my native account is using the same email as my FB account? No chance?

Thanks,

Jackson

Hi Jackson,

I created it using email/joomla native I cannot use FB autopost?

->Yes you understand it correctly here

what if my native account is using the same email as my FB account? No chance?

-> If the user already got account in the site, they just need to authenticate the it by 'sign in with facebook' and system will noticed them to sync with the existing user http://take.ms/24les
