Hi Mikal,
The error you mentioned means the namespace is already taken by someone else. It will search the entirety of Facebook to check and see if there is another user using the same namespace in their app. You can try using several common words and you will hit the same error. My suggestion is to use something that is unique. If it's already taken, keep on trying.
