I've wasted a morning trying to figure either of these out with zero luck. I know I need to create apps (managed that with Twitter OK, but FB is a total nightmare - I don't think they could have made it more convoluted or difficult if they'd tried).

I get this error when trying to connect to Twitter even though it's a brand new app:

The request token for this page is invalid. It may have already been used, or expired because it is too old. Please go back to the site or application that sent you here and try again; it was probably just a mistake.

FB gave me errors on an older app so I went to try and upgrade using a link saying it's their upgrade tool - didn't exist. Gave up, made a new app. Gave errors about some permissions not being submitted. Just clicked OK then EB says I'm connected to FB. Have not posted yet so no idea whether it will work or not. Then I see that the permission is only good for 60 days then I need to renew with FB. What sort of total BS is that? Is there a way around this? How does everyone else handle this? Or is it I've just done something wrong?
Hi Ian Shere,

I am sorry for the late reply and inconvenience caused for this. Can you provide us with your Joomla back end, Facebook and Twitter login credential so we help you out on this.

Then I see that the permission is only good for 60 days then I need to renew with FB.

->This is the new requirements set by Facebook and they no longer provide lifetime token access
The new requirements set by Facebook enforces that all apps re-authenticates on the 59th day since the initial token generation
It's annoying I know, but this is unfortunately not something that we could control

Why don't you explain how to create the "Screencast" Facebook requires?

Hey Mark,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here.

Why don't you explain how to create the "Screencast" Facebook requires?

I have a little bit lost here, what do you mean how to create the `screencast` Facebook requires?

Or do you mean how to renew Facebook token once Facebook token already expired?

If yes, if you using latest version of Easyblog 5.0.39, you can simply click revoke access from backend > Easyblog > Autopost > facebook then click sign in via Facebook button for re-authentication again with your Facebook user account, so it will regenerate the new token.
