Extending EasySocial Module

Hi Mark & Team,

Just want to thank you again you guys are awesome really! I just look at the Albums module but I was disappointed when I saw the module settings, it only provides number of Albums to display. What if I want to display specific Albums from a certain Group/s or User/s only? Well, told myself, fine, I'll just copy the Album module and modify the query.

But to my surprise that's why you guys are awesome! all I have to do is to add the parameters I want cause you guys already created the field type that will pull Groups and Users... not just that it is already presented in a nice pop up window, all I have to do is to select. Amazing! Saved me a lot of time!

How can I help on API documentation?

Mark, seriously? on Theme compiler, ES pulled the module Albums that I modified and I am able to recompile less. Double awesome man! Please extend my overwhelming thank you to your Team, and of course to you!

I just finished a cool module in less than an hour, it never happened when I tried to extend Jomsocial modules before.

One thing in the model field, the input text value stays and there is no way to empty it. I've added Group and User to select from which to pull Album from.

When I change the Filter Type, the value in the Group or User stays and since the input box is disabled it cannot be deleted manually. It's not critical though, but it just looks nicer if the input box is clean when No Filter is selected.

Anyhow, the module works perfectly!
