May I know what you mean by 'Extended Editor' plugins?

If you are referring to these plugins(http://take.ms/9HFwi), then they are not for use with the built-in composer.

thank you for your fast answer. Yes this kind of plugins i was referring to. So you mean there is no way for example to insert a Docman Download by an editor button to an EasyBlog Blogpost?

So, if this might be possible, wouldnt it be a nice idea, to add an block to insert for these purposes, like the block for inserting modules?

Yes there is no way to do so currently.

Actually I'm not really sure what is this Docman Download about. Is this something like the file block?

Docman is a complete download Component with ACL, Count and tracking of Downloads. But this is just one example for one of the possible plugins i am referring to. Could also be the native joomla contact in blogpost plugin.

Hey Macjoomla,

I see. The built-in composer utilizes a different structure compared to legacy editors. Therefore, we are not sure whether this can be added as a block and integrated with other components.

This is still an idea nonetheless so it would great if you can post this in the feature request section if you have not done so to expose other users to the idea.
