Hi, what the difference between those types?

I have only one user profile "Registered users" and no one else can see the posts unless a person is registered on the site so he becomes a registered user.
I guess in my case there is no difference but the share button has several sharing options including everyone and registered users. Can some of this options be disabled so it doesn't confuse users? It's just a cosmetic change i think but would be nice to have it. In registered users profile type in the privacy option tab I changed all the settings to "registered users " but it didn't help.

Please advise, thanks
Hello Alexander,

Unfortunately it is not possible to remove "Everyone" option from the privacy settings currently via quick settings. However if you want to remove it you can download attachment below and place it inside your /components/com_easysocial/themes/wireframe/privacy/ folder and then go to your backend > easysocial > profile types > select your user profile type > privacy tab, and follow the instruction from the screenshot here, http://screencast.com/t/r3NnZsdk1K .

Do note that our support policy usually do not cover customization request so handle this customization at your own risk and perform a necessary backup during the update to the newer version of easysocial in the future.

Hey Alexander,

I am really sorry for the delay of this reply as it is a weekend for us here. Everyone basically means the items would be publicly accessible while "Registered" means only users that are registered on the site

Thank Mark

In my case the site is not publicly available, i mean the "news wall" or "info wall", I'm not so sure what it's called is not appearing for the users unless they are not registered (logged in).

So in my case "public" and "registered" are the same. If the user is logged in he can see both public and "registered" content, which is logical. But is it possible to hide public or registered from users eyes?

Sure Mohd, i will rephrase it: how can i remove "Everyone" option in the grey globe button which the user can use to choose how his content can be available for example: for everyone, for registred, my friends, only me, custom etc (see the first screenshoot). So the users don't have the option to share for "everyone".

Thanks
