That doesn't seem to work and now module doesn't show at all

This isn't possible currently but we'll see if we can add this in the future version.

Out of curiosity..I've gotten some mixed answers on a few questions lately..A fix offered, then you saying it's not possible..is that just miscommunication on your side?

I believe Nik was trying to help you out of good faith but we cannot be supporting all customizations which we provide.

The only reason I ask is because sometimes I don't know who is responding and if they are with Stackideas or a customer and I make changes to code then have to undo those changes..make sense?

Just for your information, in 1.4.8 we have removed the "filter by category" filter BUT as long as there is a category selected in the module, the rest of the filters should respect this category option

Just a note: I would love to upgrade each time a new version comes out but it takes a good week for
me to correct all the issues with doing that like forgotten .css changes (I'm trying to log them now to make the upgrade easier) and FB login always seems to break on upgrading.

It wasn't too much of a problem before but we are getting a lot of new members and we can't afford for them to keep finding problems

I would suggest that you keep your css changes in your Joomla template's css file. This way, you don't have to worry about upgrades

I have started doing that but it's not flawless

I am not too sure if there are better ways to do this
