Hi.

Please add a option in backend to select 12h and 24h , where 24h option shows time without "am" and "pm" in frontend for europe users
Hello Marco,

The time format is actually using a language string so you can always change this in your language strings

COM_EASYSOCIAL_DATE_DMY12H="jS M, Y g:iA"
COM_EASYSOCIAL_DATE_DMY24H="jS M, Y H:i"

I don't get this idea either... I've tried to change in lang. file and no success.. Wouldn't be easier just put it into settings?

Try the language override file inside Joomla's admin panel. That way you won't lose any changes next time you update.

If you want to use a 24 hour date format, you can override with the language codes below,

COM_EASYSOCIAL_DATE_DMY12H="jS M, Y G:i"

Marco, 100% agree. I miss this too. Tweaking language strings is not the best way of sorting out such issues.

Hi. I upgraded to current. Now you have a 12h and 24h switcher. But in frontend if i create an Event and click on the Datepicker i still have 12hrs and "am" and "pm" suffix

Hello Marco,

In the custom fields settings, you also need to choose 12h or 24h

Yes Mark. But in the screenshot you see AM and PM field. And it still persists. And also the time here are shown in 12hs. If i save an event, then in frontend ill get 24h view. But not during creating event and set time.

Hi,

The settings you see in "Settings -> Events" only affects "display". The field obeys field settings, which is in Event Categories -> Custom Fields, Click on the startend field to load up the configuration, and change the time format to 24H.
