We need to make certain changes in event orders. Right now, it only does ascending or descending orders when we click on include past events (checkbox). But we are not able to make following changes as they does not look good when we have a number of events.
1) We want to sort out the future event by closest future date, eg. we would like to show first the event which are coming closer.
2) We want to sort past events with closest past date, eg. we would like to display first the event which has recently past.

Please let us know how to do it.
